GOAL

Goal 1: To stabilize and expand SAIL

Last year AIR worked to rebrand and establish a new self-advocacy group.  We accomplished this by creating SAIL – Self Advocacy, Inclusion and Learning.  It was noted that more management oversight would be needed to stabilize and expand all the great things individuals supported identified they wanted to learn.  This year we will focus on stabilizing the individual leadership group and connecting with community resources for educational experiences.

Goal 2: to evaluate and structure AIR membership fees to increase paying membership numbers.

AIR management noted some gaps in the set up of our monthly membership fees and will be working this coming year to close those gaps and increase our paying membership numbers.  This increase will assist in bringing new and exciting events and activities to the AIR programs while also updating our current aesthetic and equipment available to paying members.  Management will be updating brochures/literature advertising the AIR program while also updating intake processes to ensure clear communication of expectations.

SEASONAL

The weather is cooling down. Please make sure you come prepared for your day at Impact with a toque and mittens/gloves. We ask you have a backpack or bag that can hang on the back of a chair so keep items off the floor and table tops. Please bring in indoor footwear for the day to eliminate puddles of water formulating and becoming a hazard. Individuals can store some items in the lockers during the day, but nothing can be kept over night.
