"To re-structure a self-advocacy group”
Throughout the past two years, the pandemic created a number of barriers and obstacles preventing groups from getting together. As restrictions have eased, the AIR team is focusing on restructuring what was formally known as VOICES into a curriculum based self-advocacy group. The focus will be gaining input from members on topics for skill building and development and producing high quality opportunities for self-advocates to learn a variety of skills.
Brrrrr. The weather is cooling down. Please make sure you come prepared for your day at Impact with a toque and mittens/gloves. We ask you have a backpack or bag that can hang on the back of a chair so keep items off the floor and table tops. Please bring in indoor footwear for the day to eliminate puddles of water formulating and becoming a hazard. Individuals can store some items in the lockers during the day, but nothing can be kept over night.
