GOAL

Goal 1: To stabilize and expand SAIL

Last year AIR worked to rebrand and establish a new self-advocacy group.  We accomplished this by creating SAIL – Self Advocacy, Inclusion and Learning.  It was noted that more management oversight would be needed to stabilize and expand all the great things individuals supported identified they wanted to learn.  This year we will focus on stabilizing the individual leadership group and connecting with community resources for educational experiences.

Goal 2: to evaluate and structure AIR membership fees to increase paying membership numbers.

AIR management noted some gaps in the set up of our monthly membership fees and will be working this coming year to close those gaps and increase our paying membership numbers.  This increase will assist in bringing new and exciting events and activities to the AIR programs while also updating our current aesthetic and equipment available to paying members.  Management will be updating brochures/literature advertising the AIR program while also updating intake processes to ensure clear communication of expectations.

SEASONAL

Spring is here and we are getting so excited.  Be prepared for fun whatever the weather is.  We’ll be spring cleaning and getting back into a groove of community walks, park days, and fun in the sun.  Please make sure you have a hat and sunscreen with you on the warmer days and keep a water bottle in your bag to stay hydrated.
