Persons with Development Disabilities
The Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) Program is a provincial government program that provides funding for staff supports for adult Albertans with developmental disabilities.
The PDD Program works with others to support adults with developmental disabilities to be included in community life and be as independent as possible. The program is administered and governed by six community boards. Funding is provided to support individuals in their home, work and social environments based on individual need. These services supplement the support of family, friends and community members and assist the individual to live as independently as they can in the community.
